A strange world of dwarfs awakens before Christmas. The snow-white dwarfs make presents of snow and ice. In the process, the dwarf's become coloured themselves and their world acquires a unique beauty.
Strange things occur on christmas eve. A greedy fox snaffles presents from father frost's sledge, but the dwarf ad the two toys enlivened by him bring the presents to the children. The fox is forgiven and the festivities of christmas press onwards.
