Taina, protector of the Amazon rainforest, faces a dangerous gang that assail the millenary trees where many animals take shelter. Now an early teenager, Taina divides her efforts between confronting the bandits and taking care of the 6-year-old Catiti. Catiti escapes from the Indian village wishing to imitate Taina's exploits. Meanwhile, young Carlito comes from the city on a holiday with his biologist father. A cultural shock ensues, involving the urban and scientific learning of Carlito and the natural, traditional knowledge of Taina. But they must unite to overcome the aggressive evildoers.
