Gear up for the first high-voltage tech-fest of the year, which is going to be an eclectic mix of various technical and other exciting events! Organized by the IEEE Students' Branch and the Electrical Engineers' Technical Association (EETA) of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), Surge is a technical symposium with a difference. It seeks to not only stimulate and bring out the creative genius in the participants, but also make it a fun and learning experience for the participants.
In addition to the regular events like technical paper presentation and working model contest, Surge 2005 contains unique events like Fanda'mental, Blast, a creative idea generation contest, a treasure hunt and IQ games.
The Tech Fest speakers include the CEO of Idea Labs, and the fest is open to all the engineering students and faculty across the state.
