Five extremely colorful episodes of the Ramayana come alive as Damal S Ramakrishnan rhapsodizes about them in his hypnotic Sengalipuram style. The style that Sengalipuram Anantharama Dikshitar spouted timeless religious tales in, to enrapture the most varied and distinguished audiences, whether late president Dr. C Rajagopalchari, or the royal families of Kozhikode, Kochi and Tanjavur.
Damal S Ramakrishnan and his sister were child-prodigies, and began by giving their first religious discourse under the patronage of Sengalipuram Dikshitar himself, when they were just 10 and 8 years old respectively. They were an instantaneous success and have over 3000 performances under their belt today. Ramakrishnan and Perundevi were also bless by the Paramacharya of Kanchi as Pravachana Thilakangal.
