Recollect one of NTR's last portrayals as he entered politics? This is the same 
story. It revolves around a simple man who becomes an ascetic and is enlightened 
with divine power. This saint performs miracles that amaze the public, and tells 
them that such acts are nothing but the power of devotion and meditation.


 

This touching play directed by Maragam Krishna Rao was staged by a group of village artists who recently formed an organization called 'Sri Ramakrishna Yuva Jana Natya Mandali' at Mallampalli in Krishna district. Over five artists in simple costumes and using minimal stage sets created a devotional mood on stage. The actors Basava Raju, Veeraraju, Venkata Ramayya, Venkata Rao and Uma Malliah made a moving presentation.
