'Sacred Symbols' are a collection of photographs that tells the story of photographer Amita Talwar's journey through Banares, Mahabalipuram, Uttranchal, Nepal and Dharamshala, the current home of the Dalai Lama. It featurs the Aarti (evening worship) on the banks of the Ganga in Benares, the stone sculptures in various temples across the north and south of India, the boats on the ghats in Benares, Nandi the bull and more.
This is an "Art For Causes" initiative, in which art and photography come together for charity. 50% of the proceeds from this exhibition will support charitable trusts.
