- Restorative poses
Rajeev, the facilitator, was born in 1979 in Trivandrum. He is the founder of Drishti Vinyasa Yoga. He has 500 hours of experience as a registered yoga teacher by the American Yoga Alliance and a registered ayurveda therapist.
He was introduced to yoga by his uncle in 2001 after leaving a marine engineer's job. Initiated in yoga from Sivananda Ashram, he began teaching yoga in 2002. He became a certified yoga teacher in 2003, and an advanced yoga teacher in 2004.
He was introduced to Vinyasa Yoga in 2004 from Prahalad and Veronica. He studied with Swami Mahadevananda, Mani, Prahalad, Veronica, Patrick Creelman, John Bentham, Dominique, Kawaljith, David Swenson and Kate Greer.
In 2005, he moved to China. He conducted more than 50 yoga workshops, and several short-term and long-term yoga teacher training sessions.
