REVIEW FOR SPIRITUAL SCIENCE CONFERENCE BY...

The World United is organising its 2nd National Conference on Spiritual Science, on 13th & 14th Dec '08. The conference will be held at JNTU Auditorium, Masab Tank, and the timings are 9am to 7pm.

On the 2nd day of the conference, i.e., 14th Dec, Padmasri Dr. Yella Venkateswara Rao will give a seminar on 'Awaken Your Soul Through Music'. This will be the final session of the conference.

Venkateswara Rao holds a Guiness Record for playing the mridangam continously for 36 hours, in the year 1981. He has given more than 15,000 national and international performances, and has experimented on ideas ranging from music therapy through the mridangam for mentally challenged children, performing the Nava Mridangam (playing 9 mridangams at once), and Varuna Yaga (bringing on the rains through his music). He is a recipent of more than 100 awards, titles and felicitations, the latest being the Padmasri form the President of India.
