The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry Of Textiles, Government Of India, is organising a Special Master Creations Crafts Mela, from 29th February to 9th March, at the Shilparamam Crafts Village. The 10-day exhibition cum sale crafts mela will have about 150 stalls featuring rare exhibits by national and state awardee craftsmen from all over the country, as below:
Madhubani Paintings from Bihar
Phulkari Work from Punjab
Tie & Die Printing and Beads from Rajasthan
Zari Zuti from Haryana
Worli Paintings and Leather Chappals from Maharashtra
Stuffed Toys and Applique Work from Gujarat
Lac Bangles and Leather Items from Madhya Pradesh
Cut Glass Jewellery, Carpets, and Art Metal Work from Uttar Pradesh
Jute & Kantha Embroidery from West Bengal
Patta Chitra and Silver Filigree from Orissa
Chittal Patti, Cane & Bamboo Articles and Dry Flowers from Manipur
Woodcarving, Lacquerware, Kalamkari Carpets and Terracotta from South India
