Easy Library Hyderabad is very pleased to announce the date for the first session of the 6 part series 'Six Dates With Shakespeare'. Also, for the maximum benefit to the children attending the sessions, we will do our best to schedule the next sessions as per the availability of all the participants.
For your information, following is the list of plays that will be covered in these sessions:
1. Macbeth
2. The Merchant of Venice
3. Julius Caesar
4. The Tempest
5. Romeo and Juliet
6. A Midsummer Night's Dream
Renowned Children's author Nandini Nayar will present the sessions in Easy Modern Day English for the participants in the age group of 10 years and above. The sessions will involve summary of each play, role play of the excerpts and various fun activities and trivia to keep the participants engaged and interested.
About the author:
Nandini Nayar lives in Hyderabad, Idia, and writes for children. Her first picture book was Pranav's Picture (Tulika, 2005) and her first book for older children was The House of Fourteen Cats, which won the second prize in the Children's Book Trust competition in 2005. She now has eleven picture books, two novels, a collection of short stories and several non-fiction titles to her credit. What Shall I Make?, published in the USA as What Should I Make?, was listed as 'Outstanding International Book' by the USBBY and Children's Book Council in 2010. What Shall I Make? and Pranav's Picture also feature in the list of books recommended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (India). What Shall I Make? and What Did You See? feature in 101 Indian Children's Books We Love (Zubaan).
