Inviting all aspiring script writers for the ongoing series of workshops by The Scriptwriting Lab. This week the topic we will be discoursing is "Show, Don't Tell - Cinema as an essentially visual medium" - by renowned writer Sriram Karri.
About the Speaker :
Writer of a book "The autobiography of a mad nation", Sriram Karri is an English-language novelist, writer and columnist. His first book, The Spiritual Supermarket, was published by Mosaic Books for the Indian sub-continent in 2007. It was longlisted for the Vodafone Crossword Book Award, (Non-Fiction), in 2008. His first novel, The Autobiography of a Mad Nation, was longlisted for the MAN Asian Literary Prize in 2009.

The Scriptwriting Lab is an ongoing series of weekend workshops with writers and film makers, where we discuss and practise the craft of writing for cinema. Each session shall focus on a distinct aspect of scriptwriting in detail, with specific techniques and examples, and involving practise exercises followed by sharing/feedback.
The session is free and open to all.
