If the jazzy, animation-loaded website is any indication, this is going to be one hell of a management festival this year! It is Sanskriti 2005, the Institute of Public Enterprise's annual festival, and is back from the shelf after a break of four whole years. If you have seen the kind of library, labs or other infrastructure IPE has, you know this festival is going to have to be absolutely jhataang to match up. Well, atleast the planning seems top of the line.
The main events are Tarang, Kurukshetra, Aragami, Shastra and Nivesh in marketing, IT, HR, Operations and Finance respectively. Paper presentation contests in topics that range from the prescription for indian economic growth to the significance of supply-chain management, have attracted management schools from all over the country. The finale is on 21st, with two colleges competing for every topic. NITIE and Sydenham of Mumbai, and IMI of New Delhi are three of them.
The business quiz, called 'Ranbhoomi' challenges you to answer the questions of the IPEites over Derek O Brien and Siddhartha Basu. We figure if they are sounding that cocky, they certainly have something superlative coming the way of invitees and participants .Who are the only ones allowed in by the way.
So make haste and sign up for Sanskriti and one of its many events and you might just have bought your ticket for the biggest party of the year. Intellectual party yes, but fun all the same. For more details, please contact Praneeth Reddy at 094404 81621, or Prashant Kumar Kedia at 093470 10189.
