Mumbai-based Bengali artist Palash Halder is exhibiting his set of recent paintings at Hotel Taj Krishna from 29th January to 3rd February. Titled "What Time Embraces", this set contains 25 paintings.
Palash Halder completed his Bachelor In Visual Arts from the Rabindra Bharati University, Shantiniketan, in 2001. He was awarded the first prize in painting at the inter-university east zone competitions and the inter-university national competitions in 2001. He also received the All India Academy Award in 2009.
Palash has been part of solo shows at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery and Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Mumbai in 2008, and various group shows at Atelier Art Gallery (Mumbai), Kalahita Art Foundation (Hyderabad), Hues Art Gallery (Bangalore), Chemould Art Gallery (Kolkata), Planet Art Gallery (Delhi), Art Mall (Delhi), Napeansea Studio (Mumbai), and Bajaj Art Gallery (Mumbai).
