Three metal bands will be performing as part of the Resurrection Tour, on 12th February, at Torque in Hotel Green Park. The three bands - Demonic Resurrection from Mumbai, 1833 AD from Delhi, and Escher's Knot from Chennai - are on an India tour performing at Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Demonic Resurrection is a 5-piece metal band from Mumbai, with The Demonstealer on the vocals and guitars, Daniel on the lead guitars, Mephisto on the keyboards, Husain on the bass guitar and Viru on the drums. The band blends the genres of Death, Black and Power Metal; a genre that it calls 'Demonic Metal'. The band has been around for almost a decade and has released 2 full-length albums - Demonstealer and A Darkness Descends - and an EP titled Beyond The Darkness.
1833 AD is a Black Metal act from New Delhi, and has been a part of the Indian Metal scene for the past 4 years. Originally founded by vocalist Nishant and bassist Sushmit in 2004, the band has been playing its own brand of Black Metal ever since. Their musical influences include Norwegian Black Metal acts such as Burzum, Satyricon, Carpathian Forest, and Immortal. The band is currently working on its debut album My Dark Symphony.
