The Ranga Reddy District Olympic Association, together with the Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association, is organising the Inter-Club games at different venues, on 26th and 27th December. Competitions will be held in 7 different disciplines - kabaddi, volleyball, kho kho, handball, basketball, hockey and football.
The games are open for all clubs in the Ranga Reddy region, and there is no registration fee. Spot registrations are accepted. Competitions will be held in 3 venues - basketball at the Kukatpally Indoor Stadium, football at the Alwal grounds, and kabaddi, volleyball, kho kho, handball and hockey at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.
Teams of men and women can participate in hockey, kabaddi and kho kho; while volleyball, handball, basketball and football are open for men only. Winner and runner-up trophies will be presented for the first and second-placed teams in all the disciplines. The winning teams will represent Ranga Reddy district at the AP Inter-Club games to be held during the 3rd or last week of January. The games will be inaugurated by MLA Sudheer Reddy and Saroornagar Corporator Bhargave.
