Quatuor Neemrana - A Western Classical Music Concert

Western Classical music buffs can rejoice 'cause here you have a distinguished string quartet coming to Hyderabad to play some stiff-upper lip, upturned-nose classical music. So put on your black evening gowns and tuxedoes to watch Quatuor Neemrana, a group of four french musicians who came together in 1998 as Quatuor Con Fuoco.

They represented France for the Paris-Moscow-Berlin exchanges in 2002 and worked with maestros such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Gyogy Kurtag and Brigitte Engerer.Two of this group (Sulliman Altmayer and Gauthier Hermann) have performed in Hyderabad two years go. Apart from Hyderabad, this brilliant group is also going to perform at 10 other cities in India.

Sulliman Altmayer plays the violin; Julien Dabonneville plays the alto; Gauthier Hermann the cello; and Guillaume, the violin. The concert begins at 1900 hrs on the 3rd of April at Monsieur Raymond's Tomb, Moosaram Tekdi. Please contact 2770-0734, 2770-0736 for further details
