7th Krishnakriti Annual Festival Of Art & Culture: Events in Hyderabad

The 7th edition of the annual Krishnakriti Art And Culture Festival will be held from 7th to 11th January at the Kalakriti Art Gallery. This year, the 5-day festival will have talk-slide shows by eminent artists, a cultural night on 9th January, and a book release on 11th January. The details of the program is as under:

7th January

7 pm - Inauguration of Art Camp at Kalakriti Art Gallery

8th January

4 pm - Talk And Slide Show On Ram Kinkar Baij's Sculpture By K S Radhakrishnan at Kalakriti Art Gallery

6 pm - Talk And Slide Show by Seema Kohli at Kalakriti Art Gallery

9th January

3 pm - Talk And Slide Show by Reena Kallat at Kalakriti Art Gallery

7:30 pm - "The Hundred Charmers" performance by Roysten Abel's Troupe at Taramati Baradari

10th January

7 pm - The ABC Of Art by Dr. Alka Pande at Taj Deccan

11th January

6 pm - Lashkar: The Story Of Secunderabad - Book Release by Narendra Luther at the Secunderabad Club

The Krishnakriti Art And Culture Festival is being organised every year by the Lahoti Foundation which was established by artist Prashant Lahoti in memory of his father Krishnachandra B Lahoti. On this occasion, art camps are organised by eminent artists and the works are auctioned off at the end of the festival. The proceeds from the sales go to The Krishnachandra B Lahoti Scholarship which sponsors holistic education for deserving and needy students.
