The Hyderabad Film Club, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic Of Korea in Mumbai, is presenting a Korean Film Festival from 23rd to 29th April, at Prasad Labs Preview Theatre. A total of 9 Korean films will be screened during the week-long festival.
More Than Blue is the first film to be screened on the 3rd day, 25th April. The film is directed by Lee Yeon-Woo, and features Kim Yoon-Seok, Jeong Kyeong-Ho, and Seon Woo-Seon.
Kay and Cream, both orphans, first meet each other in high school. Kay was abandoned by his parents, who, nevertheless, left him a sizeable sum of money, while Cream lost her entire family in a traffic accident. The two become soulmates and start living in. However, Kay watches Cream switch from boyfriend to boyfriend as he keeps his own feelings for her to himself.
Knowing that Cream's biggest fear is to be left alone, Kay keeps the fact that he has terminal cancer as a secret, and instead, urges her to marry a kind and healthy man. When Cream announces that she is in love with the affluent doctor Joo-hwan, Kay is left heartbroken, but is satisfied that she has met her ideal partner. Later, Cream accidentally learns about Kay's illness.
Entry to all the films is free, and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please contact Bh Prakash Reddy, Secretary of the Hyderabad Film Club, at 93910-20243 for further details.
