Saimakhya Bharathi, in association with Chaitanya Art Theatres, is organising a theatre festival from 7th to 9th February, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. 5 plays will be staged during the 3-day festival.
The 3rd and the last day of the festival will feature a mythology drama Sri Rama Pattabhishekam, to be staged by Savera Arts from Kadapa. The drama is directed by Alluri Venkataiah.
The coronation of Rama is referred as Sri Rama Pattabhishekam. Rama's unquestioning obedience to his father's wishes, his moral uprightness in war, his deference to the wishes of his people, his generosity in the face of personal loss and his marital fidelity made him Vishnu's most august and venerable incarnation.
Samaikhya Bharathi and Chaitanya Art Theatres are two respected cultural organisations of the twin cities. Both are committed towards reviving theatre, and organise cultural events regularly.
Entry is free for everyone. Please contact Satyanarayana at 98856-73828 or K K Raja at 98852-81545 for further details.
