The new series Perspektiven aims at not only bringing the best photographic talent together in Hyderabad, but also creating a stage for discussions, debates and knowledge-sharing sessions.
The theme for the first Perspektiven photography series is Water, the element of life.
Without doubt water is our most precious resource. In addition to being a life giving force, water can also supply us with joy and laughter. Water can express and represent many wonders including peace, tranquility, power and strength. Sometimes it can exude an air of mystery and lend itself to awe.
Water, often compared to presence of life itself, is a source of energy and an aesthetic manifestation of nature that photography can discover, interpreting its dynamism and beauty.
This exhibition will be a group effort by Satya Prasad Yachendra, Prashant Machikanti, Hemant Kumar and Ravikanth Buddiga to showcase water and its role in all its glory. There will also be an exploration of the relationship between Humankind and water as well as images that reveal the qualities of this precious resource.
