REVIEW FOR PANCHARI BHAVALU

Your doctor may not have passed strict orders, but enjoying an evening in the company of Nritya Choodamani Sajni is an absolute must.

Organised by Sri Vyshnavi Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Niketan, Panchari Bhavalu is a solo dance program by Sajni Choudary. Sajni has been performing for over a decade, and has won many awards, including the Nritya Choodamani, which is the highest honour for any dance performer.

The speciality of this program is that a single dancer will be performing different roles simultaneously, in the same dance number. She will play the role of Krishna and also of Satyabhama, in the same dance item.

The program will consist of 6 dances:
1. Koluvayyi Unnade, Sivastuthi
2. Yahi Madhava, Jaidev Astapadi
3. Vinnapalu Vinnavale
4. Daru Tillana
5. Aalokaye Sakhi Balakrishnam
6. Ammavari Stuti

All the items will be performed by Sajni Choudary, except Daru Tillana, which will be done by one of her disciples. The dances are choreographed by Bhagvatula Sethuram, who will also be conducting the orchestra.
