This film festival brings Telugu smash hits galore. Okkadu (2003) is packed with all the masala required to make it a knockout. There's slick action, tender romance, good music and, of course, Mahesh Babu. Director Gunasekhar sure knows his stuff.
Swapna (Bhumika Chawla) is on the run, attempting to escape old enmity and the obessive love of powerful factionist, Obul Reddy (Prakash Raj). Ajay (Mahesh Babu), a kabbadi player, rescues her, and then, both of them are on the run. Eventually love (and a few kicks) defeats all evil.
