Elzevir makes sure you see his paintings in the eye with a technique he has been working on for many years. Life sized portraits of people who are surrounded by color so that you cannot distract yourself by looking at the background. Of-course, if you are too intimidated, you could simply look outside, just the day you can simply close your eyes when IMAX makes you nauseous.
But his paintings won't make you nauseous of-course. They are a series of personalities on themes concerning the western society, its social classes, its costumes and its habits. The exhibition is in collaboration with Daira Centre For Art And Culture, and begins on the 24th May to go on till the 11th of June.
