As part of its Thursday gigs, Hard Rock Cafe is presenting a night of hard rock by Hyderabad-based Native Tongue, on 11th March. The band is popular among rock lovers of Hyderabad, and is seen mostly at campus cultural festivals, night clubs and hotels in town.

Native Tongue is a Hyderabadi Garage Rock/ Power band, consisting of Baba with the bass and vocals, Joel with the vocals and drums & Benhur on the guitar. The band won the Hyderabad finals of the Pepsi Hero Honda Campus Rock Idols Contest in 2004. The influences of the band include Green Day, Steely Dan, The Killers, Dire Straits, Van Halen, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Jaco Pastorius, Charlie Parker, John Mayer and Mr. Big.
