Kalasagaram's 42nd Annual Festival of Music, Dance & Drama is on at Keyes High School, from 28th November to 6th December.
The penultimate day of the 9-day festival will feature a humourous Tamil drama Meesai Aanalum Manaivi by Crazy Creations, Chennai. Written by 'Crazy' Mohan and directed by S B Kanthan, this play is a riotous comedy that revolves round Madhu and the hilarious situations he gets into on account of his frequent but harmless lies.
Then, there is Ramanujam, Madhu's 40-plus unmarried brother-in-law, who falls in love at first sight with every second woman he comes across; Seenu, Madhu's colleague at work who lands him in more trouble in the name of helping him; Mythili, the spinster from Delhi madly in love with Madhu, unaware of his marital status; her trigger-happy brother, an army officer who complicates issues by his indiscretion. Each character abundantly contributes to the chaos.
