There are few reasons why Hyderabdi's play basketball. One of them, is this event.
Basketball has never appealed to the majority of the Hyderabadi population, but for the teams participating, this is THE event they've been waiting for.
The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Hyderabad District Basketball Association, is conducting this competition for men and women. The Championship will feature 31 men teams and 10 women teams, playing on a knock-out basis.
The event will be inaugrated by T Krishna Reddy, Mayor, Hyderabad Municipality, at the Victory Playground. M Mukesh, MLA, Maharajgunj Assembly Constituency, will preside over the ceremony.
