The Magic Samraat P C Sorcar Jr is back in the city, and will entertain audiences for 25 days from 24th December to 17th January, at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan. His only son Master P C Sorcar will assist him in between.
Magician P C Sorcar (Junior) is the living legend of Indian magic. He comes from the famous Sorcar family of magicians, which has guarded this art for the last 8 generations. Son of the legendary magician P C Sorcar Sr, P C Sorcar Junior is the professional stage name of Prodip Chandra Sorcar. Since he began performing in 1971, he has toured extensively around the globe.
There will be one show daily at 7pm, and two shows - one at 3pm and one at 7pm - on Sundays and public holidays. Tickets priced at Rs. 200, Rs. 300, Rs. 500, Rs. 750 & Rs. 1,000 will be available on all the days of the show. Please contact 91604-33433 / 91608-80808 for further details.

It was with great expectations we all went to watch this indrajal show yesterday. To our disappointment, this was the worse ever magic show I had seen from their family. I am a hardcore fan of PC Sorcar but due to the mishap in their family Junior didnt perform and only Master was there. He couldn't impress upon the audience and having seen Chris Angels and David Blains of the world on TV and net now, people will compare them with PCS and rate. To me this was waste of 3000 rupees. Master is still novice I guess. and his interest is more in music than magic.
