Samyuktha is one lady whose career aspirations were clear at an age when most of us say that we want to become a hero when we grow up. Currently working as a junior lecturer in music at the Vamshi School For The Disabled at Hayatnagar, Samyukta, a diploma holder in music from the Bhakta Ramdas Music College, Secunderabad, wanted to become a singer and pursue a career in music right since her childhood. She joined the Music College in 1988, and after completing the rigorous training, joined as a music teacher at the Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha Music School in 1995.
Sometime later she wanted to start her own music school, and Vani Nilayam came into existence. Simultaneously she also started Sudarshan Bharathi, a trust in memory of her late father and mother. Ever since its inception, this organization has been hosting vocal and light music concerts, with Samyuktha ensuring that she was present and participating in every program.
This evening, she, along with her friends, will present a light music concert on the occasion of the organization's 3rd anniversary. This will be a one and half hour program where the artists will sing songs written by acclaimed writers like Dashrath, Acharya Thirumala, Palagummi Vishwanatham and Krishna Shastri.
Around 30 children from Vani Nilayam and Sudarshan Bharathi will present group songs in this light music concert.
