This is just a small way of saying 'thank you' to a man who has helped make a few celluloid masterpieces.
Pamidimukkla Venkatramarao, on his 80th birthday, will be felicitated in this programme organized by Raga Tarangini Arts. He was the assistant director of old Telugu movies like Vipra Narayana, Chandirani, and Chakrapani.
This would be followed by a musical programme in which songs of his movies will be sung. DVS Raju, the ex-chairman of the National Film Development Committee, and a famous director will preside over the function. Akkineni Nageshwar Rao will be the chief guest, and IYR Krishna Rao, IAS officer will also be present.
