Evidently, the city just doesn't get enough of its latest music poster-boy. Welcome Sreerama Chandra's new album at Landmark, and catch him croon a few samples.
Landmark, the book and music store, will be releasing a new album "Rehnuma", of Sreerama Chandra Mynampati, the winner of Indian Idol 2010. The album is being launched on 19th October, at 6:30pm. On this occasion, Sreerama Chandra will sing a few songs from this album.
Rehnuma has one original song 'Rehnuma', and covers Hindi film favorites like Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai and Sun Zara. The video of 'Rehnuma' has been included in the CD as a bonus feature. The tracklist includes:

Sreerama Chandra, a native of Andhra Pradesh, has always lived in Hyderabad, where his father is a High Court advocate and his mother a housewife. In spite of a non-musical background, Sreeram had a passion towards singing, and started singing from his school days. He started playback singing at the age of 17.
He has completed his 5th year of his Certificate Course in Carnatic vocal at Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Music College, Marredpally. He is a disciple of B Hari Priya (one of the Hyderabad Sisters).
After participating in ETV's "Sye", a singing reality show, prominent Telugu film music director Koti spotted Sreeram's talent and made him sing a song "Chirugalithone Adiga" for a movie called Notebook. He got his first break singing the title track for the critically acclaimed 2008 Telugu comedy film Ashta Chemma.
Before participating in Indian Idol 5, Sreeram was an upcoming playback singer in Telugu film industry. He worked with some prominent music directors that include Mani Sharma, Kalyan Mallik and Ramana Gogula.
