An international & continental food festival is being organized at Arena, in the Taj Deccan, as part of the Times Food Fiesta. Chef Sachin Joshi will demonstrate the intricacies in the preparation of traditional and contemporary European dishes.
Jodhi will start off with the appetizers, mostly salads. In course of the preparation, he will reveal the ingredients, and explain the traditional way of mixing them. He will then move on to the soup of Potato & Lichees With Cream.
Next to follow will be the preparation of Wild Mushroom Risotto & Non-Veg Rhizome With Scampy Lemon Grass And Ginger. Finally he will demonstrate the preparation of Sumac (a Lebanese herb) Sizzled With Lamb Chops, and Veg Polktha With Banthi Suhim.
Joshi is an established chef, and popular for his contemporary cuisine throughout the country. He worked at the Mumbai Oberoi during 1991-1995; Holiday Inn, Pune, during 1995-2000; Taj Kirshna, Hyderabad, during 2001-2005; Taj Aurangabad during 2005-2007; Taj Lucknow during 2007-2008, and at Taj Deccan thereafter.
