REVIEW FOR INTER-COLLEGIATE CARROMS COMPETITION
Power, literally, in a flick of your fingertips. Go catch some of the city champions bulldozing their way through round after round of Carroms to know what i mean!
The Osmania University Arts College is conducting it's Inter Collegiate Carroms Tournament for men, an annual event that is now nearly a decade old. 54 colleges will clash with the ferocity of pugilists, but in a wooden board ring only about 7 sq.ft in size and with boric-powder dusted finger tips for gloves.
Some of the winners last year were Anwar Uloom College, Badruka and AV College. The preliminary rounds( 1st , 2nd, 3rd) are being held on the 4th of October between 2 p. m and 7 p. m and the quarter-finals onwards (4th, 5th, 6th) will be held on the 5th.
Entry fee is Rs. 150 per college team. If you want to try your luck at winning this shield, approach your college authorities to represent your college next year.
