Wanna take on the Africans on their own turf? Please consult your physician before attempting this. PG College, Secunderabad is organising the Inter-College Cross Country Races for men and women at the Osmania University Grounds.
The 16 colleges which have already sent in their entries to participate, are PG College (Sec'bad), St Francis College for Women, St Anns Colelge for Women, Kasturba Gandhi Degree & PG Collge for Women, A V College, Railway Degree College, Nizam College, Dr B R Ambedkar College, V V Evening College, Pragati Mahavidyalaya, PG College (Saifabad), Anwarul-Uloom College, University College of Engineering, University College of Arts & Social Science, Bhavan's College (Sainikpuri) and Government City College.
Men are required to run 12.5 kilometres, whereas the women can take it easy(!) and run only 5 kilometres to complete the race. All races will be held within the campus, and the teams are required to report at the venue by 6.00 AM.
In the men's section, the team shall consist of 9 members and minimum of 6 members are allowed for competition and counting of points for Team Championship. In women's section, the team shall consist of 6 members and minimum of 4 members are allowed for competition and counting of points for Team Championship. There has be a minimum participation of 3 teams for the team championship in respective sections.
