Be there to watch masters of craft parading their skill at Lepakshi Art Emporium.
The A P Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited is presenting the Lepakshi Heritage Collection Exhibition. About 60 persons representing different craft media have been invited to display and sell their products in this exhibition.
On display are items like soft wood toys and dolls from Kondapally, Nirmal and Etikoppaka villages; hand paintings in Cherial, Nirmal, Kalahasthi and Batik styles; puppets and lampshades in leather; metal castings and sheet metal artware in brass; carvings in wood and stone media.
Traditional textiles, varieties in saris and dress material from Mangalagiri, Narayanapet and Siddipet; an exclusive collection of saris from Kothakota, Venkatagiri and Gadwal; and the tie and dye-weaving of Pochampalli are expected to steal the show.
