The Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad is organising an exhibition of paintings by Anna Von Glasow, from 7th to 17th November, at the association's office in Hermitage Complex, Hillfort Road, Opp. A P Legislative Assembly. Anna is a German artist, and is exhibiting 20 small-sized flower, landscape and floral expression paintings in tempera on canvas.
Anna Von Glasow, a self-taught artist, started early but differently with artistic activities, and it was rather late in her life that her tryst with painting began. The advantage is her maturity, her high discipline at work and the absolute sincerity towards her pictures. She accepts only what appeals to her critical view and her feeling.
For all her paintings, she uses self-made egg tempera colors, which project a soft brilliance and at the same time a rich profundity.
