It would be too much to say that it is your greatest dream come true, but if you
are one who thinks that plastic is a statement of hatred for Mother Earth or are
one with a need for a good bag and a wallet supporting an excuse for that, then
this is a place to rectify things. The Jute Manufacturers Development Council
is organizing a five-day jute fair where jute bag manufacturers from all over
India will display their products.

Exclusively designed, braided jute fiber crafted bags and accessories will be on display here. With updated technology and international quality "in order to cater the current market needs" as B Narasimhulu, Marketing Promotion Council says, these products are likely to be good. Contemporary designs with perfect color scheming have been incorporated in the manufacture of backpacks, haversacks, duffels, totes, beach bags, shopping bags and evening bags.

And care has been taken, Narasimhulu says, in manufacturing these products to make them environmentally friendly, have the perfect load capacity and contain no non-toxic dyes. Accessories manufactured with natural fiber are also in great demand for their eco-friendly nature and bio-degradability, and these are available here, too.

There are nearly 15 stalls, displaying bags of various designs and one can get them for an affordable amount ranging between Rs. 5 and Rs. 35.
