The Commissioner of Women Empowerment And Self Employment, Ministry of Rural Development, is organizing an exhibition cum display of handicrafts prepared by Self-Help Groups and rural artisans.
The exhibition is showcasing products ranging from handicrafts, fashion garments, herbal products and food items, fashion accessories, drinks, pickles, stone crafts, apparels, sculptures and jute products.
About 500 participants from 15 States are displaying products made by self-help groups (SHGs) and artisans. The expo is expected to enhance marketing linkages for these craftsmen and SHGs.
