"When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours. That's relativity." And, that's the kind of delightfully charming chutzpah that endeared Albert Einstein to even those of us to whom relativity is confined to the 'maternal or paternal?' classification.
Einstein's Theory Of Relativity is a 100 years old this year, and Pierot's Troupe from New delhi, stages a two-act play celebrating this. The play, set in Einstein's study at Princeton University, has been written by Gabriel Emmanuel and is being directed by Ashok Purang and Sayeed Alam.
'Einstein' opens with humorous experiments which serve to explain the theory in point, and then it develops into a dilemna that the scientist faces when he must choose between his pacifist belifs and the notion of the nuclear bomb.
