REVIEW FOR DR. CHEF @ TORQUE
Dr. Chef will be performing rock and folk live on the 5th of March, at Torque pub, at Hotel Green Park.
A Hyderabad-based two-piece folk band, Dr. Chef has Parvez with the vocals and playing the rhythm guitar, blues harp and a few other instruments, and Arun on the lead guitars.
Dr. Chef was formed in 2009 by two friends Parvez and Arun. Before joining the band, Parvez made several solo perfromances in cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Goa. He also performed at the Music For Peace And Resistance Festival in Ecuador (South America).
As for Arun, he has performed with many bands in Kolkata and Orissa. He plays rock leads on an acoustic guitar, and lends his mellow vocals and harmonies to the band's sound.
