Ahala, The Drama Lounge, is turning 3, and kickstarting the 10-day celebrations is none other than UK's top female DJ - Eve Carey, this Friday. Known for her high energy and passion, DJ Eve will be working her magic behind the console, producing a mix of house and electro.
In her 12-year professional DJ career to date, Eve Carey has played in clubs all over the UK, continental Europe and the world. DJ Eve first got into clubbing back in the late 80s, sneaking into raves, and dancing all night to the likes of Top Buzz and Mickey Finn. At the tender age of 17, she got a job in a recording studio in her native Birmingham. There she learned to mix, and her career exploded.
Eve has played for events such as Godskitchen, Miss Moneypennys, Ministry of Sound, Fantazia, Perfecto, Ultra Vegas, Fuel, and the Decadence UK Tour, and for the Warehouse Autumn/Winter 2002 Collection press launch.
