DJ Chubby is from Chennai, and started DJing 8 years back, making his quest pleasing Chennaities with a new sound of music called House. Since then, he has played at various music venues in Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Chubby's talent was first exposed when he was found messing around at Windsor Park with a pair of regular CD players and a studio mixer, and managed to take over the crowd in a matter of minutes. His love for music and art of DJing then rocketed to a professional level, where he started mixing the best of House and Hip-Hop at Casuarina Bay in Kovalam, in 1999.
