The majestic tanks will thunder past an awe-stricken audience. It's ironical that these muscular metal beauties are weapons of destruction. The Indian Army spreads out its weaponry for a special occasion. Grand ol' Secunderabad is 200 years old and nobody's counting the grey hair. The city is still going strong! And so is the birthday revelry.
The programme will start with a performance given by the high-powered army band. Then you will spy the plucky defence chaps upto their sky diving tricks. This will be followed by a helicopter display, artillery gun drill and motorcycle display. The defence exhibition at the Parade Grounds includes stalls exhibiting infantry weapons, missiles, guns, ship models, photographs and other equipment.
There are some daredevil sports which are sure to take your breath away. There will be microlight flying, paramotor sailing and hot air ballooning. You will have the time of your life.
