Here's a chance to show some benevolence. Shradda Foundation and V-Care are organising a dance and music program by specially abled children at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, on 31st October. The event will begin at 6pm.
The evening will feature performances by visually and physically challenged children. Dancers from Devnnar Blind School and Lawrence Academy are all set to set the stage on fire with their performances, followed by a music program by singers of Black (TV program) and Rela Re Rela. Some dancers have been trained by choereographer and director Lawrence. Among the singers, Shravya, from Black is also to perform.
Proceeds of the program will be used for flood relief, and for the differently-abled children as well.
Shraddha - Home For Differently Abled & Orphans, was inaugurated on 25th January 2009. It was set up by a spinally injured woman, Sujatha, with an mission to help differently-abled children, in counselling them to help them grow like normal people and be self-dependent. Sujatha is herself differently-abled, because of a car accident she went through in 2001. She also makes inspirational speeches to people with various disabilities, and to the mentally depressed.
