Vipanchi Music Academy is organising a devotional music program on 3rd January, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally. About 15 disciples of Mahidhara Sashidhara Sarma will sing a few Annamacharya, Ramadas and Thyagaraya keertanas, including Kondalalo Nelakonna, Tandanana Ahi, Alarulu Kuriyaga, Muddugare Yasoda, Podagantimayya Mimmu Purushotthama, Idigo Bhadragiri, Paahi Rama Prabho, Paluke Bangaramayena, Nanu Brovamani and Rara Maa Intidaka.
Vipanchi Music Academy was established by Sashidhara Sarma in the year 1998. Sashidhara Sarma has a wide experience in music, with over 500 concerts to his credit. The academy has 2 branches, one in Hyderabad and the other in Siddipet, and imparts training for students in classical and light music. It has organised over 50 concerts, mostly in Hyderabad and Siddipet, and also in New Delhi and Kolkata.
