Cinderella, treated like a slave by her stepmother and stepsisters, seeks refuge in her own little corner of the house, where she daydreams of a better life. Meanwhile, the King and Queen prepare for a formal ball they are giving in order to find a wife for their son, the Prince. Cinderella harbours a burning desire to go for the ball but her stepmother would have nothing of it. This is when Cinderella's Fairy Godmother appears and miraculously provides her with a beautiful gown, glass slippers and a fancy carriage. She also informs Cinderella that this spell will only last until midnight.
At the ball, the Prince can't get his eyes off Cinderella. The two dance all night, till Cinderella hears the clock chime. She remembers what her Godmother had said and dashes off, leaving only a slipper behind. With just the glass slipper to aid him in the search of his mysterious love, the Prince begins to search far and wide until he finally finds her. Cinderella marries her Prince Charming and they live happily ever after.
