Carnatic Vocal By Srinivas & Disciples

On the occasion of the All India Crafts Mela from 13th December to 4th January, Shilparamam is presenting a Carnatic vocal recital by M Srinivas on 18th December.

Srinivas, along with his disciples, will recite the Pancharatnas and Nama Ramayanam in Raagamalika raagam. It will be followed by solo performances of Srinivas in Vatapi Ganapathim in the Hamsadhwani raagam, Maha Ganapathim in Naata raagam, Pranavakaaram in Aradhi raagam, and some krithis of Ganesha.

M Srinivas is a Diploma in Music from Bhakta Ramadas Music College of Government Music College in Marredpally. He is a disciple of one of the famed Hyderabad Sisters, Hari Priya. He has performed all over India, and has also sung for Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam recitals, and for ballets of Dr. Shobha Naidu, Swati Somnath and many more dancers. He received the State First Award in the District Youth Festival, from Dr Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna.
