Sri Krupa Dance Foundation Of San Jose (USA) is organizing a Bharatanatyam dance program on 20th July, at Ravindra Bharathi. The participants are Ramya and Anjali, disciples of Vishal Ramani, an exponent in Bharatanatyam and the founder of Sri Krupa.
The items that they will present are Ganesh Stuti in Naata Raagam, Nallanimeni in Purvi Kalyani ragam, Alamelu Manga, Narayanate Namo Namo, Okapari Kokapari, Muddugare Yashoda, Alarulukuriyaga, Tandanana Ahi, Thillana and Mangalam.
The dance will be accompanied by Renuka Prasad on nattuvangam, Sweta & Srinivas on vocal support, Sridharacharya on the mridangam, Pramod on the flute and V Srikanth on special effects.
The chief guests will be Dr. Shobha Raju, a renowned singer, and Dr. Sharma, Director of SVBC channel. The timings of the program are 6pm to 9pm, and the entry is free.
Sri Krupa Dance Foundation Of San Jose (USA) was found in 1977 by Vishal Ramani, an exponent in Bharatanatyam. She has trained more than 500 students. Ramani has got 30 years of experience in teaching Bharatanatyam, and more than 100 of her students have given their arangetrams in various countries.
