GHMC Annual Open Ranking Carroms Championships

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is organizing the Annual Open Ranking Carrom Championship, at the Victory Playground indoor stadium, Chaderghat, from 19th to 23rd July. Competitions will be held in the men's singles and doubles, women's singles, junior boys singles, junior girls singles, sub-junior boys singles, sub-junior girls singles, youth boys singles and youth girls singles categories.

The games will be held in the knockout format. Trophies and other prizes will be given to the winners, runners-up and losing semifinalists, in all the categories.

There is no entry fee for participation, and anybody interested in taking part can register his/her name on or before 17th July. Entries may be sent to S Madan Raj or Martin Menzes, tournament secretaries, at GHMC Swimming Pool, Secunderabad, or at the Victory Playground. The draws for the tournament will be held on 17th July itself at 4pm, at the Hyderabad Carrom Association office, Lal Bahadur Stadium.
