Chinna is a member of Surabhi Theatre, a theatre company that has been performing on stage for the last 128 years. The company is back from France (Passages Festival, Metz, and 104 cultural centre, Paris), where it had a tremendous success.
An article in the newspaper Le Monde talked of the mastery of illusion created by Surabhi. Even Mrs Aur?lie Filipetti, French Minister for Culture, watched a Surabhi play on May 11.
Alliance Fran?aise is now supporting this theatre family (Sri Venkateswara Natya Mandali) on the occasion of their first performance abroad. 43 members of the same family performed in France, and Chinna is one of them. Chinna is an artist and printmaker, the exhibition features of his works, along with some of his friends' works, after his trip to France.
