Natya Tarangini, Raja Radha Reddy's institute of Kuchipudi, is back with its Parampara series, the Hyderabad version of which is titled Andhri. Andhri 2009 is on from 13th to 15th November, at Ravindra Bharati, from 7pm to 10pm daily.
Natya Tarangini has been annually organizing the national music and dance festivals, titled Parampara, for the last 10 years in Delhi. In the past, the festival has featured celebrated artistes like Amjad Ali Khan, Mallika Sarabhai, Shobana, Vyjayantimala Bali, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Deepak Maharaj.
In continuation of its efforts, in 2007, Natya Tarangini organized the series titled 'Andhri', for the first time in the city of Hyderabad from 31st August to 2nd September 2007. Hariharan, Raja Radha Reddy, Dr. Yella Venkateshwara Rao, Shovana Narayan, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Parveen Sultana, Ganesh & Kumaresh and others have performed earlier at the Andhri series of concerts.
Andhri 2009 is being dedicated to the former Chief Minister of AP, the late Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

Natya Tarangini was established by Padma Bhushans Raja and Radha Reddy & Kaushalya in 1967, with the aim of propagating the rich Indian heritage of glorious music and dance tradition. Over the last 25 years, the institution has emerged as one with a difference in the propagation of the Indian arts and culture
